Orthotics

Custom orthotics

This page turns the live site’s empty Orthotics folder into a real standalone page by organizing the orthotics content already published on the homepage into a dedicated resource.

What are orthotics?

Orthotics are devices designed to be worn on the body to reduce pain and improve both motion and functionality. Foot orthotics are typically worn inside shoes.

Custom fit versus pre-fabricated

Custom orthotics are molded from an impression of the foot taken during consultation with a qualified specialist, allowing the device to be designed around the patient’s individual condition.

Benefits of custom orthotics

Compared with over-the-counter inserts, custom orthotics are described on the public site as being able to address a wider range of foot and ankle conditions, improve mobility, aid functionality, provide therapeutic relief, and be refurbished or adjusted over time.

Are custom orthotics for you?

If you have tried over-the-counter orthotics without relief, or if you have a specific injury, diabetic neuropathy, partial amputation, or another condition that cannot be corrected by pre-fabricated varieties, the site positions custom orthotics as a strong next step.

A consultation with a Certified Pedorthist is presented as the best way to determine fit and treatment direction.
